Lisa Cohn, co-founder of Real Energy Writers and MicrogridKnowledge.com, has worked as a writer for more than 20 years, focusing on energy and environment.
Her stories about energy and environment have appeared in Mother Earth News, HeatSpring Magazine, Natural Home Magazine, Horizon Air Magazine, Oregon Business, Open Spaces, Electrical World, Business Week, the Portland Tribune, The Oregonian, Renewable Energy World, EnergyBiz, Windpower Monthly and other publications. She recently contributed to a National Geographic Roundtable Discussion about renewable energy.
For more than 20 years Lisa Cohn worked as a stringer for newsletters published by McGraw-Hill/Platt’s Energy that focus on energy and environment. She is a former U.S. stringer for Windpower Monthly Magazine, a former associate editor of Oregon Business and a former editor of Forest Perspectives, a quarterly magazine published by the World Forestry Center. She began her writing career as an energy and environment reporter for The Cape Cod Times.
Lisa has received numerous writing awards, from the Pacific Northwest Writers Association, Willamette Writers and Associated Oregon Industries.
