Cathy Ehli is the General Manager for Warm Springs Power & Water Enterprises (WSPWE). WSPWE manages the Warm Springs Tribe’s ownership interest in the largest hydroelectric project within the state of Oregon, the Pelton Round Butte Hydroelectric Project located on the Deschutes River. WSPWE is active in exploring renewable energy potential having identified multiple prime solar sites on the 640,000-acre tribal reservation.
Cathy has over 30 years of experience in the power marketing industry, including senior executive experience in Transmission Marketing & Sales and Corporate Strategy within Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). BPA is a Power Marketing Administration under the US Department of Energy that markets energy from multiple dams operating on the Columbia River in the Pacific Northwest. At BPA, Cathy led the agency’s commercial efforts to integrate renewable wind energy into the federal transmission system successfully creating new policies and strategies for non-discriminatory open access to BPA’s transmission grid.
