About me
Ellie Draves works for Oregon’s Business and Cooperative Programs with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development. She specializes in Rural Development’s energy programs that offer financing for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, notably the Rural Energy for America Program. Ellie joined Rural Development through the recent graduates pathways program and graduated from Lewis and Clark College with a BA in Chemistry, where she worked on renewable energy research projects. As Oregon’s Energy Coordinator she hopes to help farmers and ranchers interested in making energy improvements to their operations so that they can save on their energy bills and build more resilient operations.
