About me
I am Joe Dabulskis, Sherman County Judge, 2019-present; Sherman County Commissioner from 2017-2018; a Veteran, a local wheat farmer for over 25 years; and I am the current Chair of CREA (Community Renewable Energy Association). In my free time, I love spending time with my wife, kids and grandkids and I also love to hunt, fish and crab.
Sherman County is a small, rural county with a population of 1,955. Sherman County is 831 square miles and 48 miles long and is bordered by the Columbia River to the north, the John Day to the east and the Deschutes to the west and south. This makes Sherman County the perfect place for wind and solar projects. As Judge, I have made it my mission to know the projects coming into the County as well as educate myself about wind and solar by going to many meetings in both Oregon and Washington.
