Rob Del Mar is a senior policy analyst at the Oregon Department of Energy. He is responsible for evaluating policies relating to renewable energy and energy resilience projects in Oregon. Rob is currently involved with several initiatives to enhance the collection, analysis and dissemination of data related to solar energy and storage projects in Oregon. Rob is also managing the development of new financial incentive programs at ODOE to support community renewable energy and resiliency projects and grid infrastructure projects. Previously Rob worked as a project manager in the solar programs at Energy Trust of Oregon and as a design engineer for a renewable energy engineering firm. He has worked in the solar industry for 20 years in the public and private sectors and has been directly involved with many renewable energy projects throughout the country.
