About me
Zach Sippel is a Sr. Program Manager at Energy Trust of Oregon and leads the the new Solar for All program. Previously, Zach served as the Director of Operations at Elemental Energy in Portland, Oregon, where he oversaw the Residential Solar & Storage installation department. In addition to construction oversight, Zach has worked as a lead solar installer in Minnesota, Colorado, and Oregon on projects ranging from custom residential solar pergolas to Minnesota's first cooperative utility-scale solar garden. Zach has also served as Program Manager at the Bonneville Environmental Foundation, facilitating partnerships between educators and industry leaders to develop innovative STEM/STEAM renewable energy curricula. He holds a teaching license in Career and Technical Education (CTE) and enjoys volunteering on workforce development efforts for youth and pre-apprenticeship programs. With over a decade of experience across multiple sectors of the renewable energy field, Zach is passionate about advancing solar energy solutions through positive energy, education, and community engagement.
